the visitor

Kim of Red Dirt Farm and Studio

Monday I entertained an unexpected visitor.

In the night the visitor wandered upon our place and decided to stay the day.

I’m partial to basset hounds.  However, our cat Mr. Bonez, not so much.  It was his duty to keep the visitor in line.

He was wearing a collar that had a phone number.  A call was made.

He was such a good guest.  He got along with our beagle, and ignored the cats.

He didn’t make a mess.

Ate all his food put on his plate.

And then went home at the end of the day.

I’m actually somewhat sad that we were able to reunite him with his family.

He didn’t want to go home either.   He said can I pleeeeaaaaasssee stay.

I hope I will be as good a guest myself.

I have a reservation tonight to check into our local hospital.   It should be a brief visit and hopefully some answers will be found.

See you later, Bye!

I know that our God will find a cure for you as I have asked Him a LOT. Very nice looking dog. He must have wanted a change of scenery.

  2. My lovely friend…I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to see you blogging again! Your wonderful pics matched with your words make my heart sing. You’re in my thoughts and prayers.

    1. Hi sweetie – Charles asked about you just the other night. I’ve been thinking about you so much and hoping you are well. Sorry that I haven’t been in touch, I’ve been too busy worry about myself. Lost in that selfish place. Thanks for saying hello.

  3. How sweet to have such an adorable and well-mannered guest! I’m hoping all goes well for you – you are in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs to you.

    1. Staci – thank you. I’m starting to get that nervous feeling. I need to go hug a cat.

Kim, what a handsome guest you had! He is so adorable I almost can’t stand it. And well behaved? I don’t know if I could have let him go! LOL We already have three dogs, two cats, a bunny and a bird, though, so it’s good he didn’t come to my house 🙂 I pray good things come out of your visit to the hospital. Sorry I’ve been so incommunicado lately…things are rough around here w/ my hubby’s health and my own depression 😦 But, I’m hangin’ in there! Peace to your heart

    1. Debra – you have most certainly inspired me. I’ve pulled out a big stash of stuff and stared at it all day. Trust me that is progress. Thank you for keeping me in a safe place in your heart. xok
