Today I’m heading out to face one of my fears.

It is just something I have to do.

Sometimes I get scared.

Do you get scared?

How do you face your fears?  Do you have a happy place that you concentrate on?

My gardens are my happy place.

 Comfort food that makes it all better?

Yes, I said food – I enjoyed comfort food yesterday for lunch – I was gearing up – I mean a person has to have sustenance to face their fears – right?

Mashed potatoes and gravy – my comfort food.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Thank you for being here today.

    Dear Kim,
    I am thinking of you… there is so much love in your posts…it is almost tangible. I hope you feel your readers sending the same back to you… life has it scary, hard times, and no matter how grown up we might be in years, there are still moments when we want to run to the closet with a pillow and quilt and not come out (at least I do : )

    For me, a good book is the best escape of all…so maybe that you haven’t finished reading was meant to be, and you can climb back into the story… (there is a happy ending–my stories will always have happy endings–there are far too few in real life.) And, many readers have told me the story makes them smile as they are reading. Smiling is very good Rx for the heart and soul : )

    I hide under the covers when I can’t face a fear. I hope you faced down your fear and did what you had to do. xoxo
