Chocolate Chip and Pecan Cookies
What can I say, these are about as traditional as they come.
To make them:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
Mix those first three ingredients together.
2 sticks softened butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 packed brown sugar
1 TBS vanilla extract
Beat these 4 ingredients together until creamy.
Add
2 large eggs
one at a time until mixed.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Then Stir in
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips
1 cup chopped pecans.
Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets a few minutes then cool completely on wire racks.
