My Art

Kim of Red Dirt Farm

A mermaid swam through a sea of sunflowers.  She carried a seahorse in her hand and a dream in her heart.  There in the glory of the flowers, she found a farmer on a tractor.  A cute little chicken waddled by with a bouquet of wildflowers in its beak.  She knew she was home and that this was her place to live, love, and create.

This is Red Dirt Farm

Thank you for the world so sweet,
Thank you for the food we eat.
Thank you for the birds that sing,
Thank you God for everything.

    • Thank you thank you. I’m getting ready to announce my new design name soon – I’ve been doing mixed media for awhile under a different name, but it wasn’t right. Since I’ve been sick, I have had plenty of time on my hands to clear my head and listen to my heart and feel the direction I must go. Your words are very affirming to me., I needed to hear some encouragement.

  1. Somehow, I missed this page and I’m so glad I found it as your mixed media artworks are so lovely! Here’s to you finding many more interesting bits and pieces to use in 2014.
