Sunrise.

A new day.

New Beginnings.

My favorite time of the day.

The shadows are long and dew drops glisten in the grass.

Blowing on Dandelions and making wishes, all things seem possible at this hour.

lusty lavender the day I became rebellious

 smile.

Last year I met a woman in the grocery store that had purple hair.  I stopped to talk to her and asked if I could take her picture.  She was absolutely thrilled to have her picture taken.

Purple has been my favorite color for a very long time.

Although as a very young child when asked, I said red.  I think maybe it was suggested by someone else, that red was my favorite color.

Hello – can you please help me get these boots off my feet

– from the movie gold diggers of 1937?  Not a particularly good movie in my opinion and I think this was the only funny line.  Somehow it tickles my fancy.

I love old movies, I like to watch them early in the morning before the sun comes up.  It seems to be the only time I can sit still long enough to watch a movie.

2 chicks from Sweden on bicycles visit our Pippy Longstocking House

Labor Day 2017, possibly one of the best experiences Mr. Cottage and I have had in a long time.

Mr. Cottage was out on the North 40 mowing the grass and I was around back cleaning out the hen houses.  I heard the dogs barking and figured I better go up to the house and see what was going on.  They only bark when they are inside the house if someone has knocked on the door. Continue reading
