Welcome, I'm an artist/maker that lives on a small flower and chicken farm in Virginia. I’m an introvert that prefers to spend quiet time in nature observing and taking photos and painting scenes from our happy life. On our little farm, we grow flowers from seeds and gather fresh eggs from our sweet chicks. I run a small farm stand and Art Wagon on our property. I also have a mermaid heart that longs to be by the water. Sometimes I share things I cook and make and our trips to the sea. I hope you will say hello. xo Kim

Good morning - what happiness looks like.

Though purple is my color and I love lilacs, I prefer the scent from mock orange and peonies. I cut a few to bring inside for a photo shoot of makes so I can update my web page. At my feet eating and playing the entire time we’re the littles. Eventually falling asleep beside and on top of Boo dog. They have claimed him as their big brother. Happy Friday all.

We have crazy cold temperatures - it’s entirely inappropriate! My poor iris are shivering! Have a good day.

Amber Ale the house chicken crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday. The past few days have been so difficult, knowing the time had come and that there wasn’t anything more I could do. Watching her relationship grow with Boo dog has been so amazing. I am reminded of how lucky I am to witness these special bonds in the animal world. So many of you have enjoyed their journey too.
