Pecan Pie from the farmhouse

Mother Cottage – you taught me well.

Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

3 eggs

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup dark corn syrup

1/4 cup  melted butter

1 cup whole pecans

2 tbs flour

 

Directions:

Beat eggs, add sugar, salt, vanilla and 2 tbs flour, beat lightly.  Add syrup and butter.  Place pecans in bottom of the unbaked crust, add filling.  Bake 350 degrees for 5-60 minutes.
